WELCOME to my new Beauty Blog!
I would like to welcome you to this new community where I will share beauty tips, tricks, and much more. Today, I am super excited (yay!). I feel a mix of emotions typing this post since I have been planning this moment for so long (over a year). Now, it is finally happening: MY BLOG IS UP AND RUNNING!
How did I decide to start writing and creating content to interact with YOU? Yes, with YOU!. That woman who wakes up every morning to a new day and wants to change her life. You that want not only to feel beautiful but also powerful and successful. Let me tell you how this idea began. I have had a passion for all things beauty and creative from the moment I was born. Since I was a little girl living in Venezuela, I was always wearing fashionable clothes and playing with my mom’s high heels and makeup. I used to play with my sisters, cousins, friends (basically every female, you name it!). I would create hair styles, makeup looks, etc.
That passion grew up in me, so I joined a model academy. During that time, I learned how to do my own makeup, participated in fashion shows, photo-shoots, and many other important events in my city. One day, I decided to participate in a beauty contest. I met influential people in the fashion, photography, and beauty industry. At the same time, I was going to college to complete my Bachelors degree in Biology and Chemistry. I decided I wanted to focus in my education and career, so I graduated and started a master’s program in teaching of basic science applied to Chemistry. Then I moved to the United States due to the tense political situation in my country.
Starting a new life in the US made me think so many things. I realized that I had to continue working not only in the education and science career I chose, but also that I had to follow my passion for all that moves my heart and emotions. I wanted to use makeup as an artistic expression, apply my knowledge and innate love to the skincare and teaching.
And, there was where I found the answers to all my questions and had my AHA moment!. I decided I wanted to start a new project. A new journey where I could fusion all my passions, help people to project their best version of themselves and feel confident, beautiful, gorgeous, and radiant!
JessBonilla Beauty and Makeup Blog was then born. Today, I want to share all I have learned and empower women. I want to make them believe they can do anything they want and feel stunning at the same time.
Yes, YOU!. That woman that wakes up every day to a new day ready to hold the world in your hands. YES , YOU! That beautiful WOMAN that reads me today, and that I want to have as part of this new community. WELCOME to my blog, welcome to the space where all is possible, and where we will all create the best energy to take over the world.

BIENVENIDOS a mi nuevo Blog de Belleza!
Quiero darles la bienvenida a esta nueva comunidad maravillosa que quiero comenzar hoy donde compartiré consejos de belleza, trucos y mucho más. Estoy súper emocionada (yay!) y siento una mezcla de emociones escribiendo este post. He estado planeando este momento desde hace mucho tiempo (más de un año) y ahora está finalmente sucediendo: ¡MI BLOG ESTÁ ONLINE Y FUNCIONANDO!
¿Cómo decidí empezar a escribir y crear este espacio para interactuar CONTIGO? Sí, CONTIGO. Esa mujer que se despierta cada mañana a un nuevo día y quiere cambiar su vida. ¡Tú! que quieres no sólo sentirte hermosa sino también poderosa y exitosa. Déjame contarte cómo empezó esta idea.Siempre he tenido una pasión por todas las cosas creativas y de belleza desde el momento en que nací. Desde que era una niña pequeña viviendo en Venezuela, siempre usaba ropa de moda y jugaba con los tacones de mi mamá y su maquillaje. Recuerdo que solía jugar con mis hermanas, primas, amigas, que yo era su estilista y creaba peinados, looks de maquillaje, etc.
Esta pasión creció en mí, entonces me inscribí a una academia. Allí aprendí a maquillarme, participé en desfiles de moda, sesiones de fotos y muchos otros eventos importantes en mi ciudad. Un día decidí participar en un concurso de belleza en el que conocí a personas influyentes de la industria de la moda, la fotografía y la belleza. Al mismo tiempo, estaba estudiando en la universidad para sacar mi licenciatura en Biología y Química. Por eso decidí que quería centrarme en mi educación y carrera, así que me gradué y comencé un programa de maestría en la enseñanza de la ciencias básicas aplicado a la Química. Luego me mudé a los Estados Unidos debido a la tensa situación política en mi país.
Comenzar una nueva vida en los Estados Unidos me hizo pensar muchas cosas. Me dí cuenta que tenía que seguir trabajando no sólo en la carrera de educación y ciencias que elegí, sino que también tenía que seguir mi pasión por todo lo que mueve mi corazón y mis emociones. Quería combinar la expresión artística del maquillaje, mi conocimiento y amor innato por el cuidado de la piel y la enseñanza.
Y allí es donde encontré las respuestas a todas mis preguntas y tuve mi AHA moment!. Decidí que quería comenzar un nuevo proyecto en el que pudiera fusionar todas mis pasiones, ayudar a la gente a proyectar su mejor versión de sí mismas y sentirse seguras, hermosas y radiantes.
Entonces así nació JessBonilla Beauty y Makeup Blog. Hoy, quiero compartir todo lo que he aprendido. Quiero empoderar a las mujeres para que crean en sí mismas y puedan hacer lo que se propongan y sentirse impresionante bellas al mismo tiempo. Sí, TÚ, esa mujer que despierta cada día lista para tomar el mundo con tus manos. SÍ, TÚ, esa MUJER hermosa que me lee hoy y que quiero invitar a ser parte de esta nueva comunidad. BIENVENIDOS a mi blog, bienvenidos al espacio donde todo es posible y donde todos crearemos la mejor energía para conquistar el mundo.
